How it Works

Step 1: Submit Photos

The easiest way to get your photos to me is to email me your name and address so that I can send you a pre-paid FedEx mailer package. Simply place the photos carefully in the mailer, include instructions as to what you would like done, affix the return address sticker (which will be enclosed in the mailer) and drop it in your local FedEx box. Once your photos arrive, I will then examine them and contact you with a quote for the restoration work to be done. If you decide you do not want to proceed with the restoration, all I ask is that you cover the return postage. Email: info@allisonrestorations.com

If you prefer, you may scan your photos and send them electronically, but for the best results, please contact me first via email for some basic instructions to expedite the process.

Step 2: Payment

All restoration work is pre-paid. If you accept my quote, I will either direct you to return to this page to use the the PayPal link below, whereby you can simply choose from a drop-down list of prescribed dollar amounts ($45, $75, $100, etc.), or I will send you a PayPal Email Invoice for the quoted amount to the email address you will have provided. PayPal's Email Invoicing tool is convenient way to make secure payments with most major credit cards right from the body of the email in which it was sent. Other methods of payment are accepted. Step 3: Proofing and Delivery

Once the restoration on each photo is completed, I will send you a link to review proofs of each photo online, showing the restoration work done. At this stage, you are welcome to make suggestions and ask for additional touch ups. Additional charges may be added if changes involve more work than what was asked, though if within reason, often these touch ups are done for no extra charge.

Once approved, I will mail you a CD with high-resolution print ready TIFF and JPEG files of all photos restored, as well as web-optimized JPEG of each photo for you to share easily as email attachments or upload to Facebook pages and such. Any original photos will also be mailed back to you at this time.

Price includes one 5 x 7 print for each photo restored (for 8 x 10 prints, when enlargements to this size are feasible, please add $1 per photo). Duplicates and Chromira prints (coming soon) are also available for additional cost.
