Commentary: Sometimes the most memorable photos are captured with whatever cameras may be on hand. In this day and age, snapshots are often taken with consumer-end digital cameras the size of credit cards or with iPhones, and even though such devices afford at least capturing of the memory, it takes a little Photoshop magic to bring out the qualities inherent in the image. This is my friend Katrina with her new baby grand daughter. I did basic color and tonal correction, plus removed the "clutter" and background distractions to turn a simple snapshot into a memory.
